The Second Annual Christmas White Elephant Trade Out!

I did this last year and had a great time - made a few new online - and offline - friends, too... So, here we go again!

Ok, we've all got a number of pickguards, pickups, cables, strings, straps, control plates, etc. that you might be willing to trade off as a white elephant. For those not clear on the concept, it's like this: Simply select the item(s) listed below and they'll be shipped to you. In return, you merely need to ship something that you feel is of similar value in return. For instance, you request a black Jazz pickguard, when you get it, you feel it's worth a 12' cord and off you go... Sure'n as Bob's your Uncle!

So, here's my list (for now, if you really need a pic, send me a PM):
Pickguards:
Fender '75RI Jazz...BWB pickguard (as new) **GONE**

Bump this... I'll add an SX 5 string Jazz body too! Fully loaded, natural finish - has its share of nicks and some clear chipped.

I'll add a black VMJ Pick guard as well as a older 80's (I think) white jazz pick guard has yellowed slightly.

Bump with a couple of additions - and a pic or two...

First, a Gibson tbird truss cover - gold lettering, its not flat for some reason. **GONE**

Next, some warwick (dunlop-type) straplocks in chrome. No buttons. **GONE**

Also, a brown 2 1/2" leather strap in good shape, but unknown brand. **GONE**

Found a jazz control plate for whatever reason... **GONE**

Finally, a fender deluxe bag in very good condition. **GONE**

Just shoot a PM to me (or whoever is posting a white elephant) with your request. All I need is a postal address (CONUS please) and I'll send it off. You don't necessarily have to post what you're sending in return, but it's cool if you do.

Bottom line; this is how I like to modestly share the holiday (ChrismaKwanzukkah) spirit with my fellow bass playing brethren...

Wow... Just about everything I listed has been spoken for! I'll leave the thread open for another day or two in case someone else wants to post up their own white elephant.

This year has shown more bass-playing good cheer and some new friends to boot (I look forward to hanging in AZ for Spring Training!)
