I know this is kinda of a 'long shot' but do you have any idea if your Seymour Duncans would fit on a Japanese Fender Pbass 'Lyte' which uses the P/J pickup layout?? I'm really sick of this crummy 60-cycle hum.... on the single coil bridge pickup. Thanks

This is a guess only, but I'm going to say yes.

But they fit a Warmoth P body perfectly...

Check out how warmoth routing and if it match.

Basswave... ccould you possibly give me the exact width of the 1/2 Pound 'J' pickup? That would be a big help... I'm not getting enough info what I need off the web to base my buying decision on... appreciate it.

Good afternoon Basswave... 3.705 inches is the width on the Quarter Pounder's 'J' pickup... The link took care of any issues I had with the 'Lyte's' current 'J' pickup routing. I'm at the ofc right now, so have to I'll re-measure it early this evening.

Basswave... Go ahead and do that if Vic still wants it.. I've seen no proof so far that the Quarter Pounders are gonna fit correctly on this '92 Pbass 'Lyte"... Looks the Japanese used an unconventionally-sized 'soap bar' pickup. Not been able to find anyone so far that upgraded the P/J Japanese pickups without doing some routing first. If anyone here has had a differant, successful experience on this proposed upgrade, please chime in.
