This pickup gives you the traditional sound of a vintage pickup for Jazz Bass. The single coil construction brings out the warmth and fullness, brilliance, and harmonics of the instrument. The SJB-1n neck pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity to create a humbucking effect when used with the SJB-1b bridge pickup. The magnets and coil winding are specially position-calibrated to ensure an even, accurate response and account for string excursion. This pickup is a direct replacement and requires no bass guitar modification
