Bought it for a few fly dates that didn't happen. It's never been used! I don't have the original box anymore so a local deal would be ideal...not opposed to shipping though. $75 local.

Looks just like this one...

Is it molded for a Fender-style body on the inside?

It's just foam and made for flying or transport....you put your bass in a gigbag and put that inside.

I've had one for several years now. It's made as a shell to a gig bag. One bass only. It's very secure when the bass and bag is in there. Probably won't take hundreds of pounds stacked on it's side, but I still take one of my Sadowskys when I have a fly date and have to check it. I love mine, and it's very easy to stroll through and airport or parking lot with.

PS: it will not fit my Sadowky gig bag(they are pretty much a soft case type) but it handles my Reunion Blues gigs bags just fine. I also would not put a lot of things in your gig bag side pocket.

Thanks for the info Kevin. I am thinking of using it when i ship my gear back to Australia soon. due know if it would work with an incase slim case? I was hoping I could either do that for super protection for my most prized bass,

or use it to protect two of my less prized basses in a skinny gater double case (which I guess we determined I can't)

nope, you can do two oposing in a keyboard case, but they are much higher (I used to do that before they made these) I'm not sure if they were in the works, but I told them at the time what it was for and that I planed to place basses in gig bags in the keyboard case.

I have one of these and the airlines have treated it like crap and NEVER any damage to my bass. I used a Warwick Rockbag gigbag in it which is well padded and fits well.

I've got one of these, they really protect well. My only complaint is I feel like a monkey humping a football when I'm trying to close the latches.
