I bought this case about 2 months ago. I have since found a better fitting case for my bass. It is in great condition with only a few minor scratches. I paid $120 + $19.99 shipping.

ASKING $100 shipped.

Was your bass a P-bass by any chance? I need to ship a very loved, somewhat aged P-bass off to Dolan for some work. Trying to find the 'best fit' for a P-bass that skb has. Did you happen to compare this to the regular square one?

Thanks! Brian

skb makes great cases that fit p basses and j basses. i believe they would fit p basses better than j, because looking at my case it looks like theres a little more room to accomodate the slightly different shaped/larger p bass. bump for a quality case.

No my bass was not a P-bass, but this case is a form fit for a Fender style P-bass or J-bass body. This is a better fit for a P, but will work with both with very minimal movement. The only difference in the square one I believe is the shape of the case itself. The insides are the same fit for the bass. I think the square one has some added storage space, but overall is a larger case as well. Hope this helps.
