Rare, discontinued Raven Labs (Steve Rabe of SWR) drop in preamp designed to be used with Precision bass.
Replaces vol and tone knobs with vol and eq knobs. Roll back tone from center to boost bass etc.

Comes in original box with manual. $75 shipped in lower 48.

Do these come with any sort of passive bypass capability? I looked on the Raven website, but couldn't find any documentation about that.

Also, what batteries do they take? They look like they might be the ubiquitous CR2032, the battery used in nearly every PC motherboard made in the last twenty years. If so, that's good, because they're available everywhere.

I really find this preamp intriguing, because of the simplicity of the controls. One knob to control the tone, just like we passive folk are used to, but with boost as well as cut. What a great idea!
