Squier loaded body project
Here I have a Squier body of unknown age that someone sort of refinished. It looks like they sanded the flat areas and left the white paint around the edges. They then put a coat of brush on poly from what I can tell. There are some flecks of dust/dirt in it and the back seems to have dried more like a semi gloss. It was routed for a jazz pickup near the neck. The pickup is from a Korean Squier and works fine. The pickguard fits pretty well on the body, but is too tight for the pickups. It worked fine with the EMGs I had installed. The pickguard would not fit on my Korean Squier.
What you get:
Korean Squier pickup, pots, jack, chrome knobs
regular strap pins
$75 shipped CONUS
First pic shows how I had it fit up. EMG pickup and strap lock ends are NOT included. The pickguard is included:
Here's what you get:
That does look nifty. If that is agathis wood it is attractive lumber.
Just an idea for the shoppers out there...
That body would match up amazingly well with a 70s Jazz neck, the one with the cream binding and pearl inlays.
