I am going to part out my entire Squier VMJ to help fund another bass. Basically, I took a Squier VMJ fretless body and put the Squier VMJ fretted neck on it. I only have one picture of it shown here ... the bass I will be parting out is the bottom of the two.
I am going to sell all the parts individually ... if you're not sure what comes with each description below, ask. All prices do not include shipping. Ask me for a quote, and I'll get back to you right away.
Body -- the body is from a 2007 Squier VMJ fretless. It is in like new condition, with almost no wear. I have drilled it to put the pickguard on it, and I needed to move the control plate about 1/16" to accomodate the pickguard, so I had to redrill those 3 holes, too. Also, I added the tug bar to the pickguard, so there's two holes for that.
SOLD!
Neck -- the neck is from a 2006 Squier VMJ fretted. There are some problems with this neck because I've tried to give it some relief, and I can't get the truss rod to turn any further. Right now there's about 1/16" of relief at the 8th fret when fretting the E string at the first and last fret. I use this bass right now in my band and it works great, but if you want to get the neck perfectly straight, it's going to need some truss rod work. Also, there are some slight scratches on the back of the neck at about the 5th fret.

Pickups --
SOLD!
Control plate -- (pots, knobs, jack, plate, screws, all wired up). Just a note about the tone control. At one point I was getting some buzzing / static on it. I put some pot cleaner on it, and I also switched the polarity on my bass amp at the same time, and the buzzing went away. Haven't heard it since.

Pickguard and tug bar -- the tug bar has been mounted about 1/4" closer than the standard Fender mounting. It was just where it felt right.
