Stingray Style Body

Sign in to disble this ad
(Moved from Bass Guitars section)

Stingray-style body for sale:

-Lightweight Swamp Ash
-Tummy and forearm cutaways
-Battery-box route
-Neck pocket sized 2 1/2" x 3 7/8" x 5/8" for Fender-sized aftermarket necks (my Warmoth jazz neck fits perfectly)
-Pickup route designed so standard Stingray pickguard fits

As I understand it, the prototype for the CNC was an original slab version 'Ray. Custom ordered this and just received last week, but have other projects calling for time and money.

I agree with your opinion after your Warmoth build. Warmoth's QC is great and my plan was to add a Warmoth neck (Fender-spec neck pocket with self-cut MM styled headstock) to this Stingray body.

nice, I remember now. I still don't use tung oil blends on alder bodies but yours look way better than mine, I guess different pieces of alder react differently nice Jazz BTW

Yes, from Guitar Mill in TN.

Their original version is a slab - I ordered the cutaways custom.

I'll be in Montreal at the end of the month if you're interested...
