La Bella Deep Talkin' Quarter Round Medium
Cut for Fender P. Bought new last month. They were on the bass for 10 days with about 6 hours playing time. Consider them new. The mediums aren't for me. Too thick. Been playing a 100/105 to 43/45 for 30 years. Shame on me thinking I'd adjust to these big boys. I've used a light set of Quarter Rounds for well over a year of regular playing on my P. Like TI jazz flats they keep getting better. I think anyone who wants to transition from rounds to flats (and likes a heavier gauge) or just an alternative to flats (which is why I got my lights way back when), will dig them. New these are expensive ($ 45+) but, as I said, they'll last a long time so it's worth it. Your price $ 29.00

SOLD-----Ken Smith slick rounds. Medium------SOLD
Cut for Fender P. I've got 2 used sets. Both have less than 25 hours playing time. I was going after a fatter, upright sound but I lost that gig and went back to my La Bella quarter round lights. $ 12/set

$ 29.00 shipped. They're over $ 45 new, and these have barely any time on them.

Maybe I gave up too quick on the Smith's. They felt tacky (sticky) versus the quarter rounds. It was a feel thing I never got past. IMO the quarter rounds are worth the extra dough. I can't see anyone who likes flats or grounds poo poo them. They have punch, some sheen, and good fundamental. If you like slicks, I gotta think you'll find quarter rounds easier to move around on, gauge and tension being equal. Both my Fenders now have TI jazz flats. In a year or so, I'll change one of the sets out to new Quarter Rounds which I know I'll have for 9 months+. Hope this helps.

Tom,
Just to be sure, as I want you to like them, the gauges are 46 to 107.

Thanks for re stating the gauges, I saw .45 and thought 'ok', but that 107 might be pushing it. My bad, someone else's good! Get 'em folks!
