SX Jazz Part-out

A side project on a bass I got a great deal on has really grabbed my interest and I'd rather liquidate this and use funds to do the ther one right.

SO, up for sale is a part-out of an SX jazz. Its used but not in bad condition at all.

JAZZ body w/blue photoflame finish. Some light wear but no gouges.
$40 shipped:

New/used in great condition SX jazz bridge CHrome. Found it lst night in the pile-o-stuff. $11.00 shipped

old beat up SX bridge that's been spray painted black. Its beat. shipping and you own it. Its pathetic. Oh, wait... maybe its a "relic" or "vintage"!!! 0.00 + shipping.

Control plate with knobs & pots. No rust, good condition, no bad scratches.
UPDATE: both control plates shown in the pictures are for sale. the all-chrome is PENDING PAYMENT, the black knobbed one is 20 shipped.

2 SX jazz pickups. excellent condition. $30 shipped UPDATE- SOLD!
UPDATE: the older slightly rusty pups shown are for sale as well- $20 shipped. SOLD! RUSTY PUPS GONE!

Maple/rosewood neck. Comes with nut and tuners. The bushings have been sprayed black as have the rear screws. IMO the contrast looks really good from 5 feet away. ( It worked on the bass it was on.) Up close, you can tell it'll chip. The neck has been citristripped, sanded, and the rosewood stained darker and re-oiled to hide some blemishes. It worked, as you can see in the pcitures. however in the process i got careless with the 220 grit and dragged it across the grain on 2 or 3 upper frets. there is now a scratch paralell to the frets that will be there forever. I am no luthier man... $55 shipped UPDATE- NECK SOLD

no pickguard included...

Prices negotiable especially if you are flat broke or you are combining shipping.

pics to follow.

NECK

The blems I wanted to hide

Also before staining... blotchy

THE BODY

its a far shot, but you can tell the general model form this. buffing scratches, but not cracks, dings, or scrapes

After stain/oil

No pic of the scratches yet. They are visible out to about 5 feet.

This is the bass that I got in a trade deal that will be replacing the part-out bass.

in need of TLC !

You can see the bridge. Its aweful. I spray painted it.

The pickups in this picture are not the ones I am selling, since they are rusty. The ones for sale are in nice condition. I'll sell the rusty ones too I guess. $25 shipped.

All PMs replied, and additions made:

the control plate on the ash jazz bass shown is also for sale, and I'd like 20 shipped for it.

The "vintage-ahem-rusty" pups on the same ash bass are for sale as well, 20 shipped.UPDATE-RUSTY PUPS are SOLD.

Many PM's, lots of interest, nothing final yet.

New(er) SX J bridge still here

Crummy bridge GONE

Also have a vintage Tiesco single coil pickup that I bought on the 'bay but decided to not route/install. looks Ric-esque. $20 shipped.

Also found a 4 knob active import preamp with kill switch and no control plate. I bought this from a TB-er with the intention of installing it in the SX jazz, but never did it. IT GOES> $15 shipped.
