All parts pulled off of an SX (essex).

The pickguard has some rough "routing" to accommodate a slightly larger pickup. It can be cleaned up a bit. Not really all that noticeable to begin with. $10 shipped

SX 4 hole control plate with copper shielding tape (each seam was soldered) $8 shipped

Why did you put shielding tape on the bottom of the metal plate? It is already conductive.

Because I didn't want to solder directly to the plate and wanted all shielding continuous. Overkill, but I had zero hum. :shrug:

Since I've gotten more than one question about it, I can remove the shielding from the plate if it's that necessary for someone.
