I haven't played bass in almost two years, so it's finally time for me to clean house. You can check out the pedals I have for sale in my other thread:

For sale in this thread is a SX-made p-bass body in lake placid blue. It was intended to be paired with the fretted maple neck also for sale - unfortunately, I ran into some issues.
SX p-bass body, lake placid blue: I bought a lake placid blue p-bass a while ago from Rondomusic, intending to pair it with a maple neck rather than the rosewood that came with it. I wound up getting a maple neck/board (selling the rosewood in the process) and tried to put the two together - unfortunately I screwed it up pretty badly! I will not sell the body and neck separately,
because I literally can't. One of the neck bolts broke off and it was never really a great fit in the neck pocket, so without potentially damaging the neck pocket further I can't separate the body and neck!
The front of the body is in good shape, but the back has a few assorted dings.
Because of the strange nature of this beast, and the fact that I just want the damn thing gone, I'm willing to offer up low, low price of $35 to anyone who is willing to come by my place on the north side of Chicago, IL to pick it up. I will also take trades:
- Cheap pedals (especially delay or reverb pedals)
- A bottle of decent whiskey (think Templeton Rye)
- Working stereo tape decks which can record
- Vinyl records (Zappa in particular, but let me know what you have and I'll let you know if there's anything I'd like)
As a bonus, as part of the sale/trade you can also have:
- The original white pickguard that came with the SX (I wanted to get one in pink paisley but no one would do it, which is half the reason I abandoned this project).
- The cheapo gig bag I got from SX at the same time I bought the bass.
- The original tuners from the neck (they were never removed).
I may also have pieces of the original hardware that you can have but I won't and can't promise anything other than what I've listed here. I can take photos but I can't promise they'll help much as all I have is a cameraphone. Let me know if you have questions.
