TELECASTER BASS PARTS - TELE BODY AND NECK !

First up -

Allparts Tele / 51 style body. This was an experiment to see if I could simulate the old Wildwood Fender finish. It is nitrocellulose lacquer finished, but if you wanted a perfect finish you'd want to add more clear, level, and finish sand. It has 3 or 4 coats of clear on it, so honestly, you could easily rock it as a relic. It's already got its' share of dents and dings. It is medium weight, probably around 5 lbs +/-, but unfortunately I don't have a scale here.

Next up -

Telecaster bass neck ...

This was a Squier VTB neck that I refinned in ambered nitro lacquer. It has been on and off of a couple bodies, so there are extra mounting holes, but it is simple to plug them. It has also had a couple different sets of tuners on it, so there are holes for that. Vintage style tuners cover any extra mounting holes. The frets are in A1 condition - I use D'Addario Chromes, so fretwear is negligible. Really great feeling neck.

1.6" nut
c shape
9.5 radius
medium jumbo frets

Honestly, I had planned on fitting the neck to the body (it has not been fitted yet) and making a 68 Wildwood Tele Bass tribute....even though Fender never made one ! I thought it would be ultra cool with a 3 ply white (aged) guard....

Anyway, I have some bills that need taken care of, so I have to sell the body and neck instead...
