FS/FT: Bogdan "All Your Bass" 3-knob Tonebender

Sign in to disble this ad
tons of info and clips in this thread

A very rare pedal from the man behind the "Polish Love"!

To my knowledge fewer than five of these pedals exist. Rustynuts had one and he closed his thread about it at the builder's request. Eventually, Bogdan was ready to premiere it and held a giveaway contest (see the linked thread by Chronicle for the whole story) in the TB effects forum to whoever could guess the design - The winner was TimmyDX. After hearing Chronicle's clips, people were clamoring to order this pedal from Poland - until Bogdan decided it didn't sound good on bass(!) and refused to take orders for it.

I had been impressed by the clips but thought I'd never get my hands on one - until TimmyDX put his up for sale. Lucky me! It sounds just like the clips, too! But I am notoriously finnicky about fuzz. So I'm making this available for trade.

It appears to be based on the (sought after and pricey) Colorsound 3-knob tonebender, but check the soundclips - this is a very aggressive-sounding, mid-heavy fuzz. The tone knob seems to function as a "bass filter": all the way open, low end is retained very well at all but the highest fuzz settings. Below 12, the loss of lows is considerable (just like on the colorsound 3-knob), I use it between 3 and 5 o'clock myself. It is powered by 9V positive ground (meaning it requires an isolated power source, i.e. no daisy chaining).

I've decided to make this available for sale as well as trade, because there's something I want to buy. See this thread.

God I wish I had something to trade ya for it. Been dying to try a tonebender sound lately. But don't think I have anything you looking for. Just the two items in my sig, and a 2-space ProTec 2-Space rack. But If anything does jump at ya, let me know, I'm highly interested.

Positive ground, yes. You have to have an isolated power for. This pedal is based off of the Solasound MKII. It's MUCH more aggressive than the current Colorsound Jumbo Tonebender.

Here's a clip
