Trade feeler - Fender MIA Jazz rosewood neck for maple

I just acquired a 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz bass, even though it's an '08 it's brand new, has no playing time on it at all, came with the plastic still on the pickguard, etc.

Not certain I want to do this, but being as I have several rosewood fingerboard basses I wouldn't mind having a maple board on this one. Anyone have an '08 or later neck they want to trade?

2008 is when Fender upgraded this model so it has the lightweight tuners, something I really like.

The rosewood on this one is really beautiful, dark chocolate color with red highlights. the pic is from Fender's website but I'll shoot closeups of mine if there is interest.

Not looking to sell (the bass is killer!) just thinking about a possible neck trade.

My 2cents, I would leave it alone. You may get a maple neck that does not play or fit like your current rosewood one.
