Hi- I have for sale one Groove tubes Brick preamp in excellent condition, with original box and materials. It's great, but I want the cash for a new effect I'm curious about, and I have too much stuff already. It also makes a great DI or mic preamp (with phantom power) too.

I'm not sure if I should drop the price, or just put it up on Ebay, where the average sale price is higher than my current asking price. I guess I'll give it a few more days here. I really prefer talkbass deals over Ebay.

When the economy is more normal, $300 shipped is a crazy good price for these. I typically see them for $325 plus shipping, and that's when they do come up for sale (which is rare).

With things being what they are I'm not sure what is a legit price. I saw a couple more for $300 shipped on another web forum's classifieds section yesterday that aren't moving at all.

This is a great unit for anyone wanting a mic preamp and DI with just the right amount of tube color. Even at what they cost new I think GT hit the ball out of the park with these as far as bang/buck goes.

I hate to bump this because I like mine so much that I'd love to get a few more as mic pres for my studio. But home renovation is taking my available funds right now.
