I bought an 85 MIJ jazz years ago and just replaced the pickups because someone had replaced the bridge with a Seymor Duncan Basslines Pup and it had a buzz I couldn't live with, I wanted to move to hum canceling pups
Pup 1- Seymor Duncan bridge pup, that's all I know about it, sounds pretty good on it's own. -$15 shipped CONUS
Pup 2- neck pup. not positive what this is because it was in the bass before I got it but the owner said it was original and I have owned 5 MIJ basses from around this time, I believe it. Sounds vintage and has a vintage look with some oxidation on the magnets. $15 shipped
