Use ta be the telephone pole cable guy when it came to the low B on my 5er (better tone, better tension), hence the .145 for my low B needs. I've since moved to a lighter gauge.
I have sold two and have two left (single) Ken Smith .145 SS roundwound taper core LOW B bass strings unused in their original package.
