Unique short scale project bass

This has been in my basement for a long time. Talk about unique.
25 inch scale!
Japanese made ( I'm guessing early to mid 60's)neck and body, an excuse for a bridge. Headstock was made for 4 strings. No tuners. Multi laminate exotic hardwood body. Oddly enough the frets are in great shape ( face it who would buy a 25 inch scale bass and play it) and the neck is comfortable.

This would be a great neck to slap to a custom body and play a full octave up with the right tension and string spacing. And the best part iss.....

this could be yours for the paltry sum of $45 American dollars

Haha thats funny, my band director picked something like this up at a yard sale and used it as a hall pass.

If I trusted the kids in my school ( which I don't) I would use it as a hall pass. I'm afraid that the kids would use it on each other as a tennis raquet. Anybody old enough to remember "El Kabong"?

Weird, and cool! Would that $45 include shipping? If not, how much would shipping be to 55104? I'm dreaming of a crazy defretting/conversion to an electric cello-bass.

Just found out that this bass was indeed made by Teisco. This baby is just going up in value, someone better jump on it *.

*I bet for some that alone would be satisfying.
