Unlined Fretless Neck - $65 - SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

$65 shipped and paypal'd. ConUS only. Not seeking trades at this time.

An unlined fretless neck w/ Rosewood board I bought from a thread here on talkbass: Thread

I had this paired up with a highway 1 jazz body for a while. I played it at church a few times, but didn't really need the fretless sound for the music we do, so I figured I'd rather have the ease of fretted. I sold the jazz bass here on talk bass, but the purchaser said there were intonation issues regarding the dots. I didn't have any issues playing it with a band, but I don't know much about fretless bass, so I just played by ear. Didn't really look at my hands much so no idea how to tell if the dots are right or wrong. Something to do with scale length. At any rate, I refunded him. paid the return shipping and decided to part it out.

I say all that to say this - Don't buy this if you are planning on looking at your hands to stay on pitch, as at least one other TB'er had an issue, and I have no reason to doubt their word.

Feels very nice in the hands and has some nice mojo to it. Someone went crazy trying to install a string tree, and broke off a screw or two in there. Picture Gallery

Originally from some Luthier in Austraila. Fender logo obviously not applied by the Fender factory. That's about everything I know about it, and most of that was from reading the prior threads I linked to above.

Any questions, let me know.

I don't have a MIM body to be able to tell, but it fit the Highway 1 body just fine. If those are the same, it shouldn't be an issue.

I uploaded some additional pics to the gallery, this time of the back.
