SOLD Here's the deal. For my first self-build I ordered this from USACG about 4 months ago. An unfinished alder Jazz body drilled for standard Fender bridge. With an upcharge for best grain and light weight it was $245. I put three coats of mahogany water-based stain on it, and it was looking really good. I applied one finishing coat and it all went to hell. I have since sanded it back as far as I can, and it's really smooth but looks..... well! I don't have the facilities to start again and apply a solid color to hide this mess. If you do, and have the expertise and patience, you get a top quality, lightweight (4.85lb on my digital scale) body for $125 shipped. Full disclosure: there is one 3mm ding on the back near the bottom which I have tried to show in the pics, plus body may need a filler coat and final sanding. I can email you more pics.
