Lower Price - Moses Jazz neck W/Tuners & Tree - New Pics!

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a USED Moses Jazz replacement neck. It was mounted on an AllParts Body. I bought it for a Jazz Body I have, but I just scored an AWESOME Fender Neck for it, and I have a Modulus BassStar that fulfills my Graphite Needs.
Just a note, these necks are HEAVY!!! But the Density is what gives these necks that Bright tone...

They list for $505 on AllParts. This one is under $200:

http://www.allparts.com/Moses-Graphi...ass-p/mjgf.htm

This one has a couple of things I want to point out up front. It DOES have a couple of tuner screws broken off in it.

It does have a "Chip around one of the mounting points. I have the chip. I don't see where this would affect the "Soundness" of this mounting & playing properly.

This is how I rec'd it. I'm just no longer interested in using it.

It has Black Hardware installed.

It does have the mounting screws & a Black Mounting Plate & Gasket. That's the Chip under the ScrewDriver...

How about $175 Shipped, or trade for a Fender USA Jazz Neck, or ???

OverSeas is fine, but you'll need to pick up the Shipping.

Yours appears to have an extension on it, whereas the link you posted does not. Is it a 22-fret extension? Any idea if this will fit into an MIM pocket? Did you feel as though it made the bass too neck heavy (which is already the problem I have with my current Fender)?

Yes, this is a 22 Fret Extension. It should fit the MIM pocket. It's the same as the CIJ & USA Pockets.

I didn't play this neck on a bass, but it is HEAVIER than any wood I've ever felt. But my Modulus BassStar seems to balance quite well, and I've heard that these OLDER Graphite necks were even HEAVIER!

If I can get a deal worked on this body I'm trying to get I'd be willing to work a deal on that SWR head we talked about yesterday to get this neck. Let me know if you'd be interested.

I'm picking up the head tonight. Will check it out and ship before the end of the week. No more Bumpage necessary!
