Vintage 1979 Fender Telecaster Bass Neck w/ Tuners!

Up for sale is a vintage 1979 fender telecaster bass neck. 100% original. Original logo, original nut, original frets, original tuners, original hardware and original string tree. SN# S8802041. Heel stamp 03002294. Little to no fret ware or pitting. Straight as an arrow with plenty of play in the truss rod. No extra screw holes. Minimal "wedding ring" ware on the treble side between the 1st and 5th fret. Overall great condition. Please feel free to contact me with any and all question. Thanks for looking!

1. why are you parting out such a nice bass?
2. any wiggle room on your price?
3. what is the width of the neck at the nut?

fender tele neck

It looks like there are only 2 mounting holes in the heel. Will this fit a 4 hole pattern Pbass body?

Sorry for jumping in, but in the interest of being helpful: you'd have to drill the other two holes to fit this on a standard P bass body (and the neck heel is a different shape). This is made to fit with a '70s three-bolt neck plate, which Fender never used on the Precision Bass. Hope that helps.

(And for what it's worth, this is a beautiful neck.....I wish I had the scratch for it.)
