VINTAGE GUILD BASS HUMBUCKERS - HUGE TONE !

Sign in to disble this ad
I had these in a trade feeler, but I closed that thread.

Anyway -

These sound HUGE... big, fat, full tone. They are also rare to find sold apart from buying a vintage Jet Star Bass, Starfire Bass, etc. When you do find them, you can expect to pay $200 to $300 for EACH pickup . These are what Guild used to replaced the Hagstrom pickups (that Dark Stars are modeled after). They read a STRONG 34.1k and 34.9k on my Tripplett multimeter - Gobs of tone !

Unfortunately I have some bills that have come up, so I need to sell these for a STEAL at $250 shipped in the continental USA !

PAYPAL ONLY SOLD !

Spacing can be an issue, right? Can you tell me the spacing between poles so I can figure out if these might work in my target bass?

quick measurement with my sucky ruler = 5/8" center to center

these are large (3/8") pole pieces btw
