I have a set of Hagstrom Strings from the 1960's (i believe). Hi-Fi Flatwound Chrome Nickel. They say they are regular gauge-but they are pretty heavy. They are long scale. They were on a Fender type bass for a few minutes. They were unused when I got them. The silk portion at the ball end is kind of long-I tried them on my P bass with vintage style bridge and the silk was on the saddle. $30 shipped/Offer
