I'm posting this under accessories, because the pickups / jack are not installed - even though it's a complete bass.
What we have here is a mid 80s (I think 1985 but it's hard to tell) Korean-made Kramer Striker 700ST. This thing is built like a tank! While the Striker was Kramer's less-expensive import model, this is a great bass. It has some scratches, dings, chips, etc, but overall is actually in very good condition for its age. The neck is the best part. Solid mapley goodness with minimal wear and great frets. Heavy duty Kramer bridge and tuners (I believe both were made by Grover.) There are no strap buttons and the rear one is stripped and will need to be filled/re-drilled. Easy fix.
I took the pickups and jack out, intending to put other pickups in, as well as a preamp. But that project fell by the wayside, as about 90% of my projects seem to do. I ordered a black and maple Ibanez, which is what I really wanted, so this one needs to go to someone who will actually use it.
I put some slightly used Thomastik-Infeld flatwound strings on it before dismantling it. It sounds good, but is a little noisy depending on your amp, so I'd recommend shielding the cavity.
Let's say $105 + shipping o.b.o. for starters. Lower 48. Original pickups will be included free of charge, along with the jack in the pictures (which is not the original one - just one I found.)
Pictures below.

It's priced based on the body/neck/flatwounds - but the pickups will be included for free if you want them. If you don't want them, that's fine too. I can still include the jack.
I am at work so for faster dibs on this one, please e-mail me. timothy.foolery@gmail.com

Thanks! |

Feels very comfortable, thicker than a J but still a comfortable profile. The neck is the best part of this bass.... sweet, sweet maple. Quote:

I have a '89 MIK Squier II, and the neck looks practically identical but for the headstock shape. I wouldn't be surprised if they were made in the same factory. Yes, sweet, sweet maple , and the rather flat profile makes for a very comfy shape. GLWTS! |

It's still here. I've received offers for the neck and for the strings. I suppose if I can find a buyer interested in the body and pickups, I could part it out. But at this point I'd still prefer to keep it whole. Send me an offer if you're interested...
