There are 3 different nut widths for Ps that I'm aware of; your looks like 1 3/4"- correct?

Yeah, that is a factor. I am an upright player, so it was the aesthetic appeal of not having lines that drew me in. Unfortunately, I spend all my time on upright now and this neck is not being played frequently enough for me to justify keeping it.
