Here is a Warmoth short scale project neck. This is a maple neck with a beautiful slab of pau ferro for the fretboard. The frets are the smaller 'vintage' style. Only a couple of years old. Not much playing time on this one; also, I primarily used flatwounds on this neck. The back of the neck is super slick. The neck is finished in tung oil; the headstock is stained underneath the tung oil. The string tree is included.
There are a few issues with this neck: firstly, I used 5/8" hipshot tuners, so the tiny pre-drilled tuner guidepin holes were filled and tiny new screw holes added. There is some stain seepage just beyond the headstock boundary. Neck bolts were used, so the heel has the extra large holes required for the bolt receivers. If you want to mount this using regular neck screws, those holes need to be doweled and new holes drilled. Warmoth says these necks only fit their special bodies; specs are here: http://www.warmoth.com/Bass/ShortScale/Neck/SSBWarhead/ $ 77.
