WOBO true bypass patchbay + foot controller, rackmountable/tapletop effects setup

You are looking at a handmade, WOBO true bypass patchbay and foot controller. The foot controller is capable of combining any number of loops from the patchbay onto any of the footswitches. So you can have 8 different effects each in their own loop on the patchbay, and then have each footswitch be a different combination of any of those 8 effects. This is the must basic functionality of the unit and it is capable of doing much more advanced things, including using loop #4 to switch channels on an amp, having half the effects go in your amps effects loop and half in front of the amps input, and using it is an A/B/Y for switching between amps.

One of the footswitches broke and I removed the top part of it. The bottom of the broken switch is still wired up inside the body of the unit. I have unscrewed this unit before myself, and this would be a very simple repair, just buy a new switch and put it in where the old one went. The rest of the footswitch works perfectly and I have tested it. This unit will run without any power at all, but if you want the LED's to work you have to plug it in. A standard daisy chain power supply will work.

The unit was 550 new, seeing as one of the switches is broken, I am looking for 200 + shipping in the CONUS. Even with one of the switches broken, the 7 remaining switches working perfectly is still much more highly functional than whatever you would get if you spent 200 on a new true bypass unit. And with this thing you can tabletop your effects for knob tweaking or rackmount the whole thing in a case to protect them.

Note: The bottom of the broken switch (#2) is still inside the controller soldered onto its connecting cables.

These switches control which loops on the patchbay are activated by each footswitch

These switches are on the other side and control whether or not footswitches can be activated at the same time. If the switch's are all set one way, then only one footswitch can be active at a time, and hitting one will disengage whichever one is currently active. Which all of these switches the other way, you can have all 8 footswitches engaged at the same time. You can use these switches to have some of the foot controls turn on one effect at a time so you can add them together, while other foot controls turn on a certain combination of patchbay loops simultaneously and disengage any other active footswitch.

hook side velcro, will remove if you like.

patchbay

More patchbay. The one labeled "CH" on top is used to setup footswitch number 4 as a channel switcher for an amp. The two IN and OUT sections can be used in myriad different ways, but the simplest way would be that you plug your bass into the IN of section A and then plug the OUT of section B into your amp. The OUT of section A comes after the first four loops on the patchbay. You can use this to have 4 different loops or effects go into the effect loop on your amp, back into the IN section of B where you could then have 4 more effects which would be running directly into the amp instead of the effects loop via the OUT of section B. It is also possible to use this functionality to make the unit into an A/B/Y box for switching between two amps. There are many other things you could do with this.

The whole set

Yea, once this thing sells I'm guessing you will not see another one on here probably ever.

Not home at the moment, I will edit this post later to include the dimensions. I know that the patchbay is designed to be put into a standard sized rackmount case like you would use for an amplifier...I will post numbers later today

Hello everyone! I'm a musician and co-owner of the WOBO Guitar Electronics company.

The dimensions (width x depth x height) of the units are:
400 x 160 x 65 mm = 15.75" x 6.3" x 2.56" (programmable remote controller)
300 x 75 x 75 mm = 12" x 3" x 3" (patch-bay)
The dimensions does not include sockets and switches.

If just the footswitch or its nut is broken then it may be easily replaced.

Any questions are warmly welcomed.
