WTT: Nordstrand NP4 pickup

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a set of Nordstrand NP4 pickup that I'd like to trade for a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Precision Bass pickup

I have these - http://www.bassemporium.com/item.php?sku=NP4

I want these - http://www.bassemporium.com/item.php?sku=1104416

Even trade, each person pays their own shipping.

That's the only pickups I'm interested in trading for - unless you are gonna part with a set of early - mid 60's P Bass pups !

I'll add pics later.

Oh - I'll be out of town from Thursday till Tuesday, so I'll "try" to check PMs while I'm gone, but it might be Tuesday before I can respond. Any trade offers will be dealt with on a "first PM, first serve" basis on Tuesday morning.

I just wanted to ask you why you want to switch from the NP4's to the SD Antiquity II's. I am shopping around for a set of replacement pickups for my P-bass, and I am looking at these exact two brands. In your opinion, what are the tonal differences?

Nordstrand = P Bass on steroids, but with vintage flavor
Antiquity = pure old school P Bass

Both are amazing pickups. I'm happy to keep the Nordys if needed.
