X2 Digital Wireless - XDR95 Rackmount version!

Sign in to disble this ad
I had the original stompbox version and then moved to this unit, which IMO is a better unit with a greater range. This is the second XDR95 I have owned, and I still do not move around enough to use it! I'll never learn.

Anyway, it's a little under 3 months old used on a handful of gigs with no issues. Was always rack-mounted (some normal screw scuffs from the mounting). Includes all original packaging, manuals, accessories, and I am throwing in an upgraded 2ft. Right Angle instrument cable from Bayou Cables.

$400 shipped to the lower 48 states. Paypal only please.

**Sorry, I will be out of town until Friday, and can not ship until then.

Here are some specs and info from X2 Wireless:

X2 Digital Wireless Systems, Inc. will officially launch its new XDR95 Digital Wireless at this year's NAMM Summer Session in Austin, TX. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the XDR95 is a multichannel 24-bit digital wireless system purpose-built for live musical performances - from studio to stage, clubs to arenas. The system features X2's proprietary compander-less TruDIGITAL™ format and new Q-DiversityPLUS™ (anti-jamming) technology for the sound and feel of a direct wire connection with a 300' operating range and unprecedented reliability even in harsh conditions including RF interference on your channel.

The XDR95 draws its wired-sound characteristics from X2's patent-pending TruDigital™ technology. A 24-bit A/D converter at the XDT4 bodypack transmitter captures the full dynamic range of incoming instrument, line-level or microphone signals, and then transfers them in digital format on two separate RF carrier frequencies. The XDR4 Receiver decodes the signals back into analog audio via a 24-bit D/A converter.

Two permanently mounted internal UHF antennas and two BNC chassis mounted external antennas supply RF signal to four separate receiver sections within the single rack space chassis of the receiver creating what X2 calls Q-DiversityPLUS™ -- four completely separate receiver sections working simultaneously to to deliver total freedom from dropouts, multipath cancellation, RF interference and noise.

With Q-DiversityPLUS™, should an undesired RF signal suddenly appear on your channel, the performance will not be adversely affected. This is essential when considering today's wide presence of cell phones/blackberrys, wireless networks and other unforeseen or unknown sources of RF energy.

What's more, by operating in the Frequency-Clear™ 900 MHz band, the system is free from DTV and FCC licensing concerns. The result is a reliable performance in a multitude of environments now and in the future.

The entire process takes place without the use of compression/expander (compander) noise reduction I/C's common to analog wireless units. These compander I/C's typically add coloration and distortion, and cause a noticeable modulation of the noise floor. The X2 system is notably free from all of these artifacts. The result is a signal to noise ratio greater than 118 dB and a frequency response from 10 Hz to 20 kHz, +/- .5 dB (half a dB or less), while dynamic range is >118 dB, with a THD of <.03%.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
