Yamaha Magicstomp as-is

Sign in to disble this ad
I picked up a Magicstomp without an AC adapter from GC a long time ago. By the time I picked up an AC adapter from Radio Shack, I couldn't get it to work and the return period had passed. Maybe I got the wrong kind of adapter, or maybe it's fried...I don't feel like dealing with it. Asking $20 shipped in the US. Can post pictures soon, but it looks fine.

Hi. I'd LOVE to take this off your hands, but...I think you just had the wrong supply. This is something I did a couple weeks ago, and a few folks here pointed out my mistake.
You need an "AC" adaptor, not DC. Radio Shack sells only DC. I had the same problem.
So, your MagicStomp is probably fine, and for $20 you can get the right power supply and keep that nice pedal.
If, on the other hand you still want to dump it - let me know. :-)

THANKS for letting me know this. I'll look into getting the right adapter. For now, let's call this on hold.
