Project Bass! wanted!! The worse the better!

Hello all! If anyone is selling, knows someone who is selling, or has a lead on anything similar. I would love to buy a project bass. My goal is to eventually go to luthier school and would like get experience on a upright bass ( i have done some modest work on other instruments)

The cheaper the better, I'm only a high school kid, looking for a way to start my passion of this. I'm looking in to the violin making school of america and the one in boston as well, even violin/viola/cellos would be greta but id prefer bass because I am a bassist.
