Barker Basses on sale! Black Friday Markdowns! B1 fretless four!

Sign in to disble this ad
Start your new year right with this class act from Barker Musical Instruments:

A custom B1 fretless four. Ebony fingerboard, stunning, classy looks, and custom electronics:

These are Bartolini passive pickups, custom wound with the Barker fretless in mind. A little darker than the stock B1 units, and slightly more poke. The result is a sweetness that, combined with the expressive possibilities with a fretless, makes #93 a buy-it-and-keep-it-forever candidate.

Those are LaBella black tapewounds. Nice.

This bass has been used as a demo, but shows no signs of that. I cannot in good conscience sell it as new, but she's seen no gigs, nothing other than white glove treatment in transit (not by carrier, by the Barker Taurus Limo) and supervised exposure to the bass players bold enough to step up and have a revelatory experience.

And they did, and you will too.

The numbers:

List: $3895
Street $2995

Limited time offer: $2200

fine print: Price includes stand, stand bag and gig bag.
Shipping additional ($100 in the US); international shipping available. Sale ends December 11. Payment by credit card or Paypal.

Last day! This is a one-of-a-kind with the Bartolinis. The tone is a bit fuller than the Duncans and a little larger in the lower frequencies. Nice mwah opportunities on the ebony fret, oops, fingerboard. Let's chat! (I take payments--lay it away!)
