Ok, it's a little tacky to identify ourselves with the big push-and-shove retail event of the year, but as long as I have your attention, take a peek at how accessible a Barker Bass is for you right now. There are three threads to this sale.

First, a fretted five string B1. The Barker Flagship line in a five. Owners of this model often remark at the comfort of the 34" scale with a B string that is snugger than they expected.

#71 is technically "used" but not by another owner--it has seen time as a demo bass. That said, I just can't find anything on her that isn't new looking.

Seymour Duncan split coils passive, traditional vol/vol/tone. Nice subtle figure in the cherry front. The closeup is the better representation of the color of the bass.

And here's a spiff--that's an ebony fingerboard! WooHoo!

The numbers:

List price: $4195
Street: $3295

Sale Price, limited time: $2600

fine print: Price includes stand, stand bag and gig bag.
Shipping additional ($100 in the US); international shipping available. Sale ends December 11. Payment by credit card or Paypal. PM or call the toll free number on the Barker Bass site.

Is that the first Aussie-bound bass, Lee?

Peter, if you are on talk bass, you need to post a photo of your new Barker when it arrives in the Barker Bass Club forum so we can assign you a number and welcome you to the club (officially speaking that is. You've always been welcome).
