I recall signing up for a contest back in late 05'.
Did someone win this or has a winner even been picked?

A winner has been picked and a formal announcement will be forthcoming.

Thanks for keeping such close track!

Here's the official word on the progress of the contest:

A winner has been drawn and we are currently in the process of qualifying that individual. You may recall that entrants had to be 18 or older, and we will make sure that the person claiming the prize is indeed the person who entered.

I don't anticipate any big delays here, but there are ten days allotted for all this to occur. If there were some inconsistency, we would draw another winner and restart the ten day period.

So there's the update. I'll keep you posted as we go along, and the winner will be announced here first. Stay tuned, and that goes for your bass playing as well as your attention to our drawing!

Kindly,

Lee

WE HAVE OUR WINNER!

(If you can play a trumpet fanfare on your Barker Bass, please do that now)

Presenting the winner of the Barker Bass Giveaway..........

DEBBIE OF CHICAGO!!

She registered for the drawing in December, kept her validation email, and qualified in every other way. She has chosen to upgrade to a 4 string lined fretless, which will be headed her way as soon as it is assembled.

Our congratulations to Debbie, the newest member of the Barker Bass Family. Welcome!

Our thanks to all who registered for the drawing. You'll be hearing from us with some special offers that will go exclusively to that list. You're important, and we want you to know that!

Kindly,

Lee
