quick tip of the hat to lee, again. i used his foam mutes (one red, one purple) on my barker b-1 with the La Bella nylon flats for a 50s/60s country-style gig (lotsa haggard, cash, owens etc.) the bass was terrific, and i received many compliments for the sound, tone, and stage presence of my barker bass.

Hey Ron. When you get a sec, any chance of posting a pic of this set-up?

Glad to see that people are using the mutes! When I first got my hands on a BVB I was blown away. but when I got my hands on a BVB with the blue mute....a whole new world. The fullness of the sound is incredible and it really enhances the low end "thump".
Are there any other styles that people have used the Mutes for?

Will

Whoops! Sorry, I missed this somehow. Here is a link to some pix:

http://www.esnips.com/web/mutes

With the two mutes, there are 8 possible combinations of mutedness!! (or mutosity, as Lee might say. Did I do the math right? 2x2x2, right?) regards, ron
