A new member of the family

As you might be able to tell from my avatar, I just bought a Barker Vertical Bass. I guess that means there is a new member of my bass family -- and from what I hear, I've just become a member of the Barker Bass family.

As usual, I spent forever researching and making the decision, but now that I have made it, I want the bass here yesterday. I guess it will ship out on Monday or Tuesday, so by next weekend hopefully I'm playing a Barker for the first time.

Thanks! I can just imagine me playing this black and white VERTICAL bass next to a black grand piano on stage in a black tuxedo and white shirt, standing next to my Bose combo amp (see below).

Whoa, Congrats!! I'd love to play one of those sometime, but I don't see that happening in the near future. Someday I'll order one.
