Practice Amp suggestions

I am in the process of purchasing a Barker Bass and need some good suggestions on a good practice amp.

I'll offer this, Mike. Since you didn't give me a $ ceiling, I'm going to suggest the SWR Workingman's 10.

It's very portable, and to improve that I put a luggage-handle kit on mine. The amp is in the back, vertical, which is a nice feature on a shorty. Has an XLR out so you can send a signal for reinforcement.

I actually like the sound I get through my Brio at home. Tight, nice clarity, windows respond.

One sold recently on ebay for $185.

I have been using the mighty Peavey Micro Bass as a practice amp for several years. Completely wore out the old one, and recently found another on the nasty 'bay for a hot $35.00

20 watts, not good for anything else other than playing in a small area. But my B1 sounds great through it .....

I bought a lightly used Ampeg BA110 off eBay. Works great for me and was under $100. Made in the USA too. :-)
