Things you can do while seated

Read a magazine, for one. Play a Barker, for another.

Finished our Sunday gig; 2:00-8:30. I have been playing while seated for about 6 weeks now since I had knee surgery. The knee is better, but I'm starting to like being seated at the gigs. You hear the rest of the band differently, for one. The hand positioning is even smoother. Easier on the old legs, too.
I get a kind of cello feel playing the Barker while seated. It's pretty cool. later, ron
