I just bought an EA-260 and I love it. Everything works great, but the action is rather high after about the 7th fret. The neck is straight, so that is not the problem. I lowered the bridge as much as I can, but it's still quite high. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As alway thanks in advance.
I have one of these, too, as well as two of the EA-250 guitars. It sounds like you have the problem that lots of these old Bolt-neck Epi's have; the neck needs to be shimmed, to level the neck heel in the pocket. Two of mine had to have it done; it's not hard, or expensive, but try to find someone who will do it right.
