Dead TI string?

I just received a set of TI jazz flats from you guys today. I put them on my Ric immediately and found that the D string sounds very different from the other 3. I know flats have less high end but as compared to the other three, this one has none!

I've read threads about dead strings and always wondered if there was a huge difference and if I would even notice. Well, I definitely notice it.

Any advice?

If you are certain there is a defective string, Infeld will support their product! Simply call their toll free number at 1-800-644 5268 and I am certain they will ship you a replacement along with a stamped envelope to return the defective one.

Peace!

I just put a set of TI Flats on my Ray35. I was so pleased with them on my custom bass.
I got them in and when winding the B-string found that it was "WAY" long.

Looked at the sleeve and it was a 36" B-string in with a set of 34" flats.

Called them and a replacement is being shipped out in the correct length.

I forgot to update this. I received the replacement and sent the other back. The new string is perfect. The customer service for TI so great that I've since ordered another set of strings from you guys. You guys rock!
