However, I have been talking to Mike T about getting in the direct replacement Bart pups. Aparently the pup cavity will accept a stock Bartolini pickup with no routing, but we do not yet know the model # on that pickup.

Peace! | Looks like a BC to me, but it could be an MK1. If it's a BC, it will take Nordstrand's pickups as well. Most Korean stuff uses MK1's because they're the same pickup for 4 and 5 strings (See Cort, Lakland 44-01/44-02, Elrick's Cort, Ibanez BTB). But the screws make me think BC...that would be mucho better. http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-bc-pickups.htm

At first play, I've been TOTALLY impressed with these basses!! They are even better than the prototypes and the quality on these basses are incredible for the price!
We'll ship the first 2 tomorrow for the 2 we had pre-orders on, but the rest are here and ready to ship!
I'll make another post when the basses are listed and able to be ordered online at our web site.
Peace! |

Not only do these basses look incredible, but they sound even better!
I had the chance to demo a 5-string maple neck today and I was blown away. This bass had the sound, look and feel of a high in boutique bass but cost less than half the price.
You better get them fast, the MTD Z series is soon to be the epitome of this price range.
Check back here for our review of the "Z" soon |
