I've been looking for a Tim Bogert type bass for 40 yrs. I found it a few yrs ago at Sweetwater. 51' Fender P bass.

What's you're dream bass?

I've always been partial to Fender Precision. The one that I really want though, is a Buzzard, like JE used.

Not sure if you heard, but Dean is coming out with a VERY highend USA copy of the Ox's explorer bodied Alembic. I think only 25 are being produced and MSRP is around $6,000 and street is $4,999.

#1 is a candy cola p bass 5 string
#2 is the fender custom shop Jaco pastorius jazz bass
#3 is a peavey cirrus 6 string

Azure/Midnight blue Rickenbacker 4003 with flatwound strings... I have dreams about it O__O
