Set-up/Intonation in BR?

I didn't see it mentioned on the website, but I was wondering if y'all do set-up/intonation "in-shop". I've just recently gotten my first bass (ESP 5-string) and I'd like to get this service performed.

I'm at work down in Venice at the moment, but will be back up in Baton Rouge in a couple of weeks. Also, if y'all are unable to do a set-up, could you recommend anyone in the BR area?

Thanks in advance!

Normally we do indeed take in repair work. However, our retail tech just moved to Austin, so we are in between techs at the moment... If you puirchased your bass from us, we can help, but if you purchased it from another dealer, we are not currently taking any outside repair or setup work until we find a new local tech.

Peace!

Bah! Sorry to hear that y'all lost your tech to a move; hopefully you will happen upon someone soon who's just as capable.

Unfortunately, no; I purchased this base second-hand from someone. I wouldn't mind steering my business your way once y'all do have a tech, though. Is there anywhere else in the BR area that you'd recommend who does set-ups/intonations?

Thanks!

Timsguitar.com is the only repair shop in town and unfortunately there is an incredible wait there... Tim does excellent work though.

It is a bummer, we have to turn away outside work, but have to make sure we can service instruments purchased at TPB/TPG first. If we take outside work that capicity is diminished....

Thanks for understanding!

Peac!

Yep, I kinda' figured BR might be a little sparse on that front. Oh well, I might just have to look for something between Hammond/NOLA. Or (gasp!) take the plunge myself and set it up.

Anyway, thanks for all the input. Good luck with the business and one day I'll try to make it over to Jones Creek; funny, my parents' first house was on Jones Creek Rd. Many, many years later, it's also the location of my physical therapist.
