I've seen a several MTD Z's, but not much else. A variety of fretless basses seems to be difficult to find on the market anywhere... It seems to me there's more room in the market for that niche to be filled.
I'd especially like to see a 5-string Lakland fretless offered. |

I got a bass new from you some months ago and it was great. However, most people these days aren't into the 'new' market and are looking into used gear.

There are restrictions on Canadians purchasing certain companies' instruments new. However, we are allowed to purchase any used instrument.

| | | | I think that there is so much gear, so few brands in every price-range, there are good bass-guitars about 5-600 Bucks, there are verry good ones to a triple or four times price, the same with other gear as amps or cabs. Some people like 5-strings, some 6-strings, my gear-dealer declares, that no 5 or 6-ästring-bass is able to sound like a four-string because of physics, string tension and size parameters. I say, my StingRay 5 sounds as good as his 4-stringed MM StingRays built 15-20 years before my bass.
As many people play bass, as many opinions and statements about strings you qwill get. Same with amps. Sound is something subjective, so you canīt say, this is it - or that. Donīt You aggree, the one day Your sound is killer! Next day, same rehearshal-room, You are sure that noone was able to touch Your gear, maybe slightly different weather - and You feel like someone ****ed up Your sound, somebody twiddled wih the knobs of your amp or something! Ever happened to You? Yeah, thsts like "Twighlight Zone"......
It is well done, like it is done. A big variety of themes, of instruments, amps, cabs, gear, everything. The only thing is, that people in europe, germany, like me, and other european countries are not able to get shipped anything from You. I am interested in a GenzBenz GBE 1200, and there is only one dealer in germany that has one in stock - 1.119,-- Euro, that will be about 1.555,-- USD. I think, You can get this one a bit cheaper....
In my opinion You do good work, itīs a nice board with nice, helpful people. Stay as You allways do!
Edit: I just looked for the GenzBenz GBE 1200 in Your catalogue "ThePerfectBass". It is 1.379,-- USD Sales Price. So I would safe about USD 200,-- when buying in US of A....

The person I was working with said the the roasted neck was not longer available. Yesterday I walked into Guitar Center ( ) and they seemed to have a whole wall of Stingray roasted neck bases. I would have MUCH MUCH MUCH rather spend my $2,349.00 at your store. I tried to. But EBMM does not make roasted neck basses according to someone on your staff. |

If they have them, they are old stock, not new. Neither TPB nor any other dealer can order more roasted basses. We have sold out of all of the roasted basses we had ordered.
If you have any questions, feel free to call me personally.

Owner | Hmmm well that's odd because they were unpacking them when I walked in and the boxes looked new. Maybe old stock from another store, or a special run just for GC? |

But I can tell you with 100% certainty that Roasted Maple neck instruments are not available for order from EBMM. It was a limited edition run of guitars and basses. All dealers had about 1 month to order them, and they produced only as many as were ordered.
If they were available, we would certainly be ordering more, as we sold all of the units we ordered very quickly! It was one of the most popular special edition pieces from EBMM.
We are a Premier Music Man dealer, and I personally work directly with them very closely. I can assure you that we are very informed about products that are available as we have a wonderful relationship with EBMM.
