Want to change pick-ups/preamp on Epiphone Thunderbird Pro 4
 

Hello, I have an Epi Thunderbird Pro 4 that I want to "mess around" with. I am looking to swap out pick ups and pre-amp to get an awesome beep thunderous bass sound. I love the sound of the Stingray. When doing this I do not want to have to adjst the wood . I would like to use a pick-up that fits in the current cut outs. What do you recommend Aguilar pre-amps? Thanks for any suggestions.

Aguilar and Bartolini make great preamps! Pickups also... You will just have to measure the dimensions of the the pickup cavities to see what pickups will fit.
