14x24 cocktail drum

Sign in to disble this ad
14x24 6 ply maple shell with white satin flame wrap. It has Pearl Forum lugs and Pearl Floor Tom leg mounts. The legs are Gibraltar. The hoops and shell purchased new from drum foundry. Also has a pearl internal muffler mounted to top of drum.

Drum has 4 legs for added stability. No top mounts. You could easily buy some matching pearl mounts if you want to mount cymbals, cowbells, etc. to the main drum. My plan was to use separate cymbal stands for full size cymbals. I don't think you want to hang too many heavy cymbals on the drum.

Drum has a remo vintage ambassador on top and remo clear pinstripe on the bottom. I also have a 14" powerstroke 3 coated that would probably be a better bottom head. Also have 2 remo muff'l rings.

With all parts and labor, I have well over $300 in the drum. Will take $275 shipped to lower 48 states.

I wanted to ad better pictures. I don't like how the camera flash makes the wrap look. Also, the price is negotiable. Might consider trades for bass stuff.

Thanks,
Steve

Just curious, what kind of snare setup is under the top head?

There is no snare setup under the top head. Just a pearl muffler. Although I think some on the cocktaildrum forum mods the mufflers with snare wires.

I was actually gonna use a separate 14" snare on it's own stand. But I'm keeping the snare and only selling the cocktail drum.

You could also add top mounts and hang a 10" or 12" popcorn snare from the main drum.

Update Price Drop

I need this gone. I can't ship. No box big enough. If you are in the Nashville area, maybe we can make a deal.

I will sale the cocktail drum, pedal, snare, stand (not the best), any extra 14" heads I have for $225

Would love to sale this before the weekend is over. I'm takin a huge loss but I need the cash.

Steve
