Sup guys,
I'm trying to sell my viola. Here is the link to the craigslist ad:
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...337246184.html
The ad reads:
I'd like to sell my full size 16'' Viola. I've had it for about 7 years, since 2000 when it was made. It's in pretty good condition, considering how much it was played. Sounds great, and the slight figuring on the sides and the flamed maple back looks really beautiful. I purchased the viola, bow, and case for a little more than $1600. The bow can be in better shape, and one small piece of the tip is broken. The case is as good as done. With that said, please keep in mind that the instrument has aged nicely and it IS a german instrument.
The label on the inside reads:
Frederick A. Strobel, Made in Germany, adjusted by Scherl and Roth in Elkhart, Indiana. Made 1-26-00.
This would make a great student viola. I remember it sounded significantly better than many if not most of other violas in my entire orchestra! If you need better pictures or more information, please feel free to shoot me an email. Thanks!
Here are some pictures:
Let me know if you are interested!
Thanks,
Joash
